7th Primary School Championships
The
excitement is building as primary schools are preparing their teams
for the 7th Annual Primary Schools Championships with 64 teams set
to compete over 2 days to take out the perpetual trophy.
Games start
at 9.15am and end at 2.45pm each day.
Current champions, Ballarat
& Clarendon junior school, will be really tested. They won the
last final of the competition to win the trophy by 1 point. Black
Hill have their eyes firmly set on winning and have a large base of
futsal players. Caledonian could upset every one’s plans as they have
been the big improvers in the local competition.
However, the big
whisper this year is Villa Maria. Their recent clean sweep in the
local primary schools soccer championships for girls and boys proves
they are ready and it was a great advert for futsal to see so many
futsal players in their winning teams.
